by Michael Ramstead - www.michaelramstead.com
Available at La Luz de Jesus as part of the “Laluzapalooza” Group Show.
Chonosuke Okamura was a 20th century Japanese paleontologist who, by peering through a microscope at some limestone, believed he had discovered miniature animal fossils that were 425 million years old. He saw everything from humans, to dinosaurs, to dogs, to dragons - all of which were less than a centimeter in length. He stated, “There have been no changes in the bodies of mankind since the Silurian period…except for a growth in stature from 3.5mm to 1700 mm.”
